SpongeBob SquarePants lives in a pineapple under the sea! Absorbent and porous and yellow is he...SpongeBob is a sweet, generous, friendly, trusting good guy. His buck-toothed grin and tremendously expressive face and body, along with his pure and good nature make him completely loveable. SpongeBob's innocent and good intentions never let him do anything purposely wrong or harm anyone. His boss Mr. Krabs & next door neighbor Squidward seem to be the brunt of his misadventures. He is the fry cook at the Krusty Krab working alongside Squidward. His free time is spent with his buddy Patrick, his friend Sandy and his pet snail Gary. He especially enjoys catching jelly fish at jellyfish fields. When his pineapple home is destroyed by nematodes, a single SpongeBob tear magically recreates his home from a tiny seed in just a few seconds. No wonder we love him. He is incurably optimistic and well-meaning, yet everywhere he goes, trouble seems to follow. He was in Squidward's band, beat King Neptune at a patty contest, competed in the fry cook games, scared the Flying Dutchman, foiled many of Plankton's plans, worked with Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, launched Sandy's rocket, went to live among the jellyfish once, became the Employee of the Month 26 months in a row, found the Flying Dutchman's treasure with Mr. Krabs and Patrick, escaped from the Flying Dutchman's ship, won the Conch Alarm, was promoted for a short amount of time twice, became a member of the Jellyspotters, survived a minute on land, escaped an Alaskan Bull Worm, became a fancy waiter, turned into a superhero, got into the Salty Spitoon

Bob Esponja es una esponja de mar que vive con su mascota, el caracol Gary, en los dos comodos y bien amoblados cuartos de una piña. Bob ama en forma inusual su trabajo como cocinero en "El Crustáceo Cascarudo". Es de lo mas optimista, formal y bien intencionado que puede llegar a ser una esponja de mar; pero a pesar de su buena voluntad, es de los que se meten sin querer en tremendos líos, arrastrado generalmente a los que lo rodean. Y mientras mas se esfuerza por arreglar las cosas, todo le sale cada vez peor... por no decir un desastre. Sin embargo, Bob Esponja esta siempre en busca del lado bueno de la vida, y esa manera tan positiva y entusiasta de verlo todo lo hace ser un tipo absolutamente adorable.

A tout seigneur tout honneur c'est par Bob que je vais commencer la présentation des habitants de Bikini Bottom charmante bourgade subaquatique.
Bob personnage principal et omniprésent est une éponge carrée dont l'optimisme et la joie de vivre sont rarement pris à défaut. Il habite en compagnie de Gary son escargot dans une maison en forme d'ananas qui non seulement est fort bien aménagé mais également très bien située puisqu'il a comme voisins Carlo et Patrick ses deux meilleurs amis ( même si l'inverse n'est pas forcément vrai concernant Carlo). Excellent cuisinier de son état, Bob occupe ses journées entre son travail qu'il adore au crabe croustillant, la pêche à la méduse et les jeux avec ses amis, en particulier Patrick avec qui il entretient une amitié depuis sa plus tendre enfance.

In seiner Freizeit jagd er voller Freude Quallen, oder macht lustige Seifenblasen. Der sympathische, grundpositive, aber auch naive gelbe Schwamm bringt sich und seine Umwelt durch eben diese Naivität manchmal in gewisse Schwierigkeiten. Aber durch seine Begeisterung und seinen nimmersatten Optimismus löst er jedes Problem.

Spongebob è una spugna di mare che indossa un paio di pantaloni quadrati e da questi deriva il suo cognome. Vive in una casa a forma di ananas con il suo animale domestico Gheri, una lumaca di mare che fa il verso del gatto. I suoi hobby preferiti sono cacciare meduse e giocare con le bolle d’acqua. Anche se la sua vera passione è il lavoro. Spongebob è infatti il primo cuoco del fast food più famoso di Bikini Bottom, il Krasti Krab ed è l’unico in grado di preparare alla perfezione la specialità del locale, il famoso Krabby Patty, un panino con l’hamburger super condito. Spongebob è un vero stacanovista: molto accurato e diligente nel suo lavoro, ha una adorazione reverenziale nei confronti del suo capo, Mister Kreb. Spongebob è un personaggio estremamente buffo, sia nelle movenze che nelle espressioni. Ne combina di tutti i colori e spesso si ritrova nei guai per via della sua ingenuità. In ogni caso, sebbene ogni tanto possa apparire leggermente tonto, in realtà è un personaggio brillante, molto vivace e armato di buona volontà. È uno spirito libero, affascinato anche dalle piccole cose e ha la capacità di vedere tutto sotto una luce allegra. Il suo buon umore spesso è fonte di irritazione per chi lo circonda, ma il suo atteggiamento vivace lo rende un adorabile simpaticone. In alcune circostanze Spongebob è piuttosto terrorizzato, ma, grazie all’ottimismo innato, riesce sempre a vincere le sue paure e a cavarsela anche nelle situazioni più difficili. Il sogno nel cassetto di Spongebob è riuscire a prendere la patente nautica di guida. Conosce a memoria tutte le risposte dell’esame teorico, ma ha difficoltà nell’affrontare l’esame di guida pratico. Il suo esame finisce sempre con un incidente in cui a pagarne le conseguenze sono gli sfortunati che si trovano nelle vicinanze e la povera signora Puff.
