Sinclair manages to retrieve the ship just before it collides with the station, and its sole occupant is taken to the medlab. Ambassador Delenn reacts with horror at the new arrival, describing him as a Soul Hunter, a figure feared in Minbari lore.

He asks his old friend Dr. Franklin for help to study ancient alien artifacts he has acquired. His assistant accidentally activates the artifacts and Dr.Hendricks is transformed into a living weapon, programmed to destroy every creature it sees as "genetic impure". It's up to commander Sinclair to stop it.

Two Psi Cops, Mr. Bester and Ms. Kelsey, searching for Ironheart, arrive soon after and demand that Station Commander Jeffrey Sinclair and Security Chief Michael Garibaldi help them find him.
The War Prayer / season 1 - episode 7 Written by: D.C. Fontana Directed by: Richard Compton Music by: Christopher Franke Members of the Home Guard, an anti-alien, “Earth first” movement, begin attacking non-humans on Babylon 5. The victims include a Minbari poet who is a friend of Delenn, and a teenage Centauri couple who have fled to the station to avoid arranged marriages. Ivanova’s former lover Malcolm arrives on the station and wants to reconcile with her. However, she learns that he is behind the Home Guard attacks and works with Sinclair and Garibaldi to trap and arrest him and his group.
And the Sky Full of Stars / season 1 - episode 8 Written by: J. Michael Straczynski Directed by: Janet Greek Music by: Christopher Franke Two mysterious men arrive onboard and kidnap Sinclair. They wish to know what took place during the final 24 hours of the Battle of the Line; a period for which Sinclair has no memory. Sinclair is drugged and placed in a virtual reality machine and begins to re-live the final battle of the Earth-Minbari War.
Deathwalker / season 1 - episode 9 Written by: Lawrence G. DiTillio Directed by: Bruce Seth Green Music by: Christopher Franke Waiting for a Narn representative to arrive at the station, Na'Toth spots a woman she claims is a war criminal who committed atrocities upon her family during conflicts 30 years ago and viciously attacks her. Sinclair discovers that the victim of the assault would indeed appear to be Jha'dur, a Dilgar Warmaster whose hideous biological experiments took the lives of thousands.
Believers / season 1 - episode 10 Written by: David Gerrold Directed by: Richard Compton Music by: Christopher Franke Dr. Stephen Franklin, chief medical officer on the space station Babylon 5, examines Shon, the young child of a visiting alien family. He tell the parents, M'ola and Tharg, that a simple operation is needed to remove a blockage from Shon's throat. However, the family's ancient religion dictates that any puncture of the body allows the spirit to escape, leaving a carcass that can't be redeemed by their God. Dr. Franklin insists that Shon will die without the procedure, but they refuse to give the doctor permission to operate.
Survivors / season 1 - episode 11 Written by: Marc Scott Zicree Directed by: Jim Johnston Music by: Christopher Franke With a visit from the recently re-elected President of the Earth Alliance looming in the immediate future, preparations are in full swing, including maintenance on a docking area that will be the home of a new fighter squadron being brought to Babylon 5 by the President. An explosion in this area brings the President's chief of security, a woman whose father was killed in an incident 17 years ago engineered by criminals to frame Garibaldi, aboard the station to investigate.
By Any Means Necessary / season 1 - episode 12 Written by: Kathryn M. Drennan Directed by: Jim Johnston Music by: Christopher Franke A substandard microchip in a piece of docking equipment causes an explosion in the docking bay. The explosion destroys a Narn ship carrying a sacred plant necessary for G’Kar’s observance of the Days of G’Quon. Overworked dockworkers who are already upset due to the docking guild’s small budget stage a work stoppage, prompting Earth Gov to send a labor negotiator.
Signs and Portents / season 1 - episode 13 Written by: J. Michael Straczynski Directed by: Janet Greek Music by: Christopher Franke The Centauri Lady Ladiera and her nephew, Lord Kiro, visit B5. The Lady has visions of the station’s destruction and warns that her companion that he will be killed by shadows. An enigmatic human named Mr. Morden visits each ambassador and asks the question, “What do you want?” Seekers working for Londo finally locate the Centauri relic The Eye, which has been missing for several years.
TKO / season 1 - episode 14 Written by: Lawrence G. DiTillio Directed by: John C. Flinn III Music by: Christopher Franke A spaceliner just arriving from Earth carries blasts from two of the crew's respective pasts - Rabbi Yosef Koslov has come to Babylon 5 bearing a legacy from Ivanova's late father, for whom she has yet to sit shiva; and discredited boxing champ Walker Smith, an old friend of Garibaldi's, has come on board to enter the Mutai, a deadly one-on-one freestyle martial arts competition open only to selected alien races.
Grail / season 1 - episode 15 Written by: Christy Marx Directed by: Richard Compton Music by: Christopher Franke Aldous Gajic, a spiritual crusader on a quest for the mystic "Holy Grail," arrives on Babylon 5 to consult with the various alien ambassadors. Explorers wishing to cure the evils of mankind have sought it for hundreds of years. Gajic's quest has taken him from the forgotten sanctuaries of Earth to every inhabited galaxy.
Eyes / season 1 - episode 16 Written by: Lawrence G. DiTillio Directed by: Jim Johnston Music by: Christopher Franke Two shady individuals arrive from Earth and begin asking questions about Sinclair and the station's command staff. Though they start out under the pretense of being corporate investigators, Garibaldi discovers that they are an Earth Force Colonel and a Psi Corps telepath. Colonel Ben Zayn cuts to the chase very quickly - there is something wrong with B5's command crew, and he wants all of them to submit to his companion's mind scan so he can find out what.
Legacies / season 1 - episode 17 Written by: D.C. Fontana Directed by: Bruce Seth Green Music by: Christopher Franke A Minbari war cruiser arrives at B5 bringing the body of Brammer, a legendary Minbari general and one of the Minbari's heroes of the Battle of the Line. Garibaldi expresses concerns that the tour could be a prelude to a new surge of Minbari hostility. Elsewhere on B5, a 12-year-old orphan is caught trying to steal food in the Zocalo, but when she suddenly crumples to the ground clutching her head, Ivanova puts her under arrest, and at once a feud begins between the first officer and Talia, who reveals that the girl is an emerging telepath who should be trained by the Psi Corps, to which Ivanova objects in the strongest possible terms.
A Voice in the Wilderness (1) / season 1 - episode 18 Written by: J. Michael Straczynski Directed by: Janet Greek Music by: Christopher Franke Sinclair and Ivanova discover that the uninhabited plant Babylon 5 orbits may not be so uninhabited after all. When they go to investigate, an earthquake traps them in an alien cavern deep underground. A communications blackout of Mars deepens Garibaldi's concern for Lise, the woman he still loves. Delenn's is visited by her old mentor Draal.
A Voice in the Wilderness (2) / season 1 - episode 19 Written by: J. Michael Straczynski Directed by: Janet Greek Music by: Christopher Franke Sinclair and Ivanova bring back a 500-year-old alien they found inside Epsilon 3. The planet begins to self destruct, threatening the station with certain destruction unless someone takes the alien's place in the Great Machine. Earth sends a warship to take control of the situation. Garibaldi's learns that Lise is safe, but not all the news is good.
Babylon Squared / season 1 - episode 20 Written by: J. Michael Straczynski Directed by: Jim Johnston Music by: Christopher Franke A spaceship is launched from Babylon 5 to investigate a powerful energy source in the galaxy, known as Sector 14. The ship is enveloped in a white light and the pilot dies after setting the ship's automatic return guidance system. Station commander Jeffrey Sinclair, Lieutenant Command Susan Ivanova and Security Chief Michael Garibaldi are surprise by the autopsy report. While the pilot's corpse looks normal, his internal organs have aged a hundred years.
The Quality of Mercy / season 1 - episode 21 Written by: J. Michael Straczynski Directed by: Lorraine Senna Ferarra Music by: Christopher Franke Ivanova discovers that Dr. Franklin has been operating a free clinic for dwellers of Down Below, the area of B5 where most of the unemployed eke out a poverty-stricken existence, and that he's been using some of his medlab supplies to do so. Not much later, Franklin himself learns of another free clinic being operated aboard the station, one that promises to heal everything. Franklin finds Dr. Laura Rosen, an aging physician who has discovered an alien device with an unknown purpose that seems to remove illness, disease and debilitation harmlessly.
Chrysalis / season 1 - episode 22 Written by: J. Michael Straczynski Directed by: Janet Greek Music by: Christopher Franke “Nothing is the same anymore.” Garibaldi uncovers a plot to kill EA President Louis Santiago and is seriously wounded trying to relay the information. Delenn begins an irreversible change. Londo asks a favor of Morden in dealing with Quadrant 37. G’Kar has concerns over the events in Quadrant 37, and leaves to investigate.
