The Honeymoon's Over / season 3 - episode 1

Prue (Shannen Doherty) and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) come to Darryl's rescue just before he is about to be murdered by a mortal protected by a supernatural entity known as a Guardian. Although they manage to vanquish the Guardian, the girls have to lie to Cole Turner, an assistant district attorney, in order to keep the family secret, which sets the mortal killer free. Meanwhile, Piper (Holly Marie Combs) worries her sisters because she has been away with Leo (Brian Krause) in the realms of the whitelighters for a month with no word, leaving her sisters to worry what's happen to her. Phoebe discovers her new active power of levitation. Eventually, all is back to normal and Leo asks Piper to marry him. After a heart-to-heart with her sisters, Piper says yes!


Magic Hour / season 3 - episode 2

Piper (Holly Marie Combs) learns from Leo (Brian Krause) that they have about twenty-four hours to secretly marry before his superiors come down on them. After finding a ritual that may be the answer, Prue (Shannen Doherty) supports using it while Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) believes performing the ritual may be selfish and have future consequences. As the Halliwells seek an answer to Piper's problem, they encounter a young couple, Christopher and Brooke, that have been cursed by a jealous warlock that wants Brooke's love for himself. The Charmed Ones find that Christopher is curse to be an owl during the day and Brooke to be an wolf during the night.


Once Upon a Time / season 3 - episode 3

Piper (Holly Marie Combs) is heartbroken, angry and stubbornly declares a strike against The Powers That Be that whisked Leo (Brian Krause) away while Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) stumbles upon a troubled young girl who is harboring an imaginary fairy princess. With the help of a little fairy dust, that reverts Prue (Shannen Doherty) and Phoebe to true childlike behavior, they realize that evil trolls really are attacking her in the "tweens," the in-between spaces, like doorways, windows and the ultimate "tween" at midnight, in-between day and night. Piper finally agrees to help, but, the trolls have changed the girl into a fairy and have taken her and the fairy princess to a mystical cave. With the help of a spell so they can see their imaginary friends and foes, the witches follow a guiding fairy to the trolls cavern. With a little Phoebe-flight, Prue-throwing and Piper-freezing, the trolls are soon gone in a puff of smoke. Yet, the young girl wants to run away from home and stay a fairy.


All Halliwell's Eve / season 3 - episode 4

As the sisters get ready to celebrate Halloween, the Grimlocks return from the dead to seek revenge on the Halliwells. As the Grimlocks start to attack, the girls are sent through a time vortex that lands them in Virginia during 1670, leaving Leo (Brian Krause) and Darryl to fight off the Grimlocks until the Halliwells return. In the past, the sisters learn that a good coven of witches summoned them to help rescue a young woman that is due to give birth to a magical child. But the mother is being held in the home of an evil witch that Cole travels to the past to help. Prue (Shannen Doherty) bumps into a present day version of their unknown Colonial savior and Cole, inappropriately dressed as an angel for Halloween, continues his deceptive romance with Phoebe (Alyssa Milano).


Sight Unseen / season 3 - episode 5

Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) are worried that Prue (Shannen Doherty) has become too obsessed with the evil triad since returning from the past and learning that someone was sent back to destroy their family line. So when Prue comes home to discover someone has broken into the Manor, she immediately believes its something supernatural send by the triad, while her sisters believe that it may be an evil of a human nature from the clues discovered by Darryl. Cole is upset to learn that the triad has sent another agent to destroy the Halliwells. Piper feels that her inability to have a romantic evening with Leo (Brian Krause) is the result of interference from Leo's bosses.


Primrose Empath / season 3 - episode 6

When Prue (Shannen Doherty) tries to help a man struggling with unbearable pain, her spell deviously backfires. Turns out the man was far from innocent, he was a demon who had been cursed to feel all the pain and suffering emotions in the world. Prue was tricked, and ended up with the cacophony of human emotions driving her insane and nearly unconscious. Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) figure out their sisters predicament with Leo's (Brian Krause) help and plot to reverse Prue's condition back onto the demon. Meanwhile, the now free demon has realized that his curse could be banished forever if it dies with Prue and begins a search for the Charmed Ones. When the demon arrives at the Halliwell home, Piper and Phoebe's plan of attack fails, leaving Prue vulnerably close to death from her suffering. Leo comes to Prue, now huddled in a ball with her head in her hands, and coaches her to face the cries of pain and suffering she hears.


Power Outage / season 3 - episode 7

A member of the Evil Triad reminds Cole that he's to destroy the Charmed Ones and not to romance Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) or they will kill him. Cole decides to use the sisters petty arguments against them by enlisting the help of Andras, the spirit of rage, who causes their normal disagreements to spiral out of control. Once the sisters begin using their magic against each other in anger, the Power of Three is lost leaving the Halliwells without their magic and defenseless. The Halliwell sisters apologize and reunite while Phoebe wonders what's up with Cole and why he seems to have faded away.


Sleuthing With the Enemy / season 3 - episode 8

The Charmed Ones learn what we've known all along, Cole is no saint. Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) has a growing suspicion about Cole's true identity and that secret he's been keeping when she finds him injured in his apartment. She begs Leo (Brian Krause) for help and when he tries to heal Cole he realizes something's amiss. Phoebe knows the truth but can't bring herself to vanquish the man she's fallen in love with (we also find out he's half-human). Good and evil join forces when Prue (Shannen Doherty) and Piper (Holly Marie Combs) head out to find Belthazor, vanquishing potion in hand, along with a otherworldly bounty hunter sent to kill the demon who destroyed the Triad. When everyone figures out just who this demon is in human form, they all converge on Cole's apartment... but Cole/Belthazor grabs Phoebe and "shimmers" away.


Coyote Piper / season 3 - episode 9

An alchemist called Kierkan creates Terra, a life essence from his own blood that can possess and control humans. When Terra desires to escape from Kierkan's control, she moves to another host body until she can come across one of the Charmed Ones, who she plans to use to destroy her creator once and for all.Piper (Holly Marie Combs) falls victim to Terra's power, as she is dreading attending her tenth year high school reunion and discovers she has a limited amount of time before the toxic qualities of the life essence kills her soul for good.Meanwhile, Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) researches Cole's family history while Prue (Shannen Doherty) tries to help Piper get through her reunion.


We All Scream for Ice Cream / season 3 - episode 10

While Piper (Holly Marie Combs) goes searching for her father, after hearing news that he's been seen in town, Prue (Shannen Doherty) is driven to learn the name of song whose melody is stuck in her head. She discovers the source is an ice cream truck that appears to be abducting children. As Prue and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) attempt to stop the ice cream man from grabbing a little girl, they find themselves sucked into a wintry world within the truck that is inhabited but the Nothing - a force that pulls its victims out of existence. Believing the children need their help, Prue and Phoebe free them, only to discover it was a mistake and they will need the help of their father in order to set things right.


Blinded by the Whitelighter / season 3 - episode 11

A powerful ancient warlock, Aames, is killing off good witches and stealing their powers. A "Whitelighter," Natalie, warns the Charmed Ones and Leo (Brian Krause) of Aames. They find out that the warlock has the ability to clone himself, deflect the powers of others, and to shape shift. While Natalie decides to check in with the Elders, the Charmed Ones decide to go after Aames. The girls find him and begin to fight, but a "Darklighter" appears, Aames kills the "Darklighter," steals his crossbow and disappears. Back at the Manor, Natalie, being a strict 'by the book Whitelighter' chastises Leo for his unprofessionalism when handling the Charmed Ones. Both she and Leo orb out and when they reach the Whitelighter sanctuary, she informs him that she will determine if his feelings for Piper (Holly Marie Combs) are interfering with his work.


Wrestling with Demons / season 3 - episode 12

The girls try to get Inspector Morris' help to protect an innocent from a possible demon attack after Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) has a premonition. Getting there before the attack, Prue (Shannen Doherty) is available to prevent the killing but lets the demon, Tom, escape when she realizes she dated him in the past. A little research leads the girls to discover that humans can be turned into demons through a sinister recruitment and training program that strips the person of their humanity, but before the process can be completed, the individual must kill an innocent. Prue sees an opportunity to restore Tom's humanity, but her sisters think they might be better off by just banishing him.


Bride and Gloom / season 3 - episode 13

As Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Leo (Brian Krause) make plans for their wedding, Cole returns to try work things out with Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) and Prue (Shannen Doherty) is kidnapped when a shape shifting warlock poses as her date. Without anyway to find Prue, Phoebe turns to Cole for help, even though he will have to risk his life to do so. Meanwhile, Prue is to be married to the warlock as part of the Priestess Dantalian's plan to obtain the Book of Shadow. Once married, Prue will turn to evil and because her magic is interconnected with her sisters and the Book of Shadows they will turn to evil also, allowing anyone of an evil nature to finally possess the magical tome.


The Good, the Bad and the Cursed / season 3 - episode 14

When Victor, the girls' father, takes Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) to a ghost town, she sees the ghostly figure of an Indian boy, named Beau. When Beau is punched, by a cowboy, he falls right through Phoebe and at that moment she becomes psychically and physically linked to him. Back at the Manor, Phoebe tells her sisters and Leo (Brian Krause) about her vision and she finds out that she is sharing Beau's injuries. Leo and Victor leave, and the girl's discover that the town is stuck in a time loop, on an alternate plane of existence, cursed to relive the same day forever. All of a sudden, Cole/ Belthazar shows up to talk to Phoebe. As Phoebe tries to tell Cole and her sisters that their relationship is over, she receives a premonition of Beau being shot in the back.


Just Harried / season 3 - episode 15

As the day of Leo (Brian Krause) and Piper's (Holly Marie Combs) wedding arrives, Piper needs reassurance from her sisters that nothing will ruin her special day. Prue (Shannen Doherty) finds herself tired and disturbed by her recent dreams and doesn't realize that she's been astral projecting while asleep, to a local bar, where she has been seeing one of the regulars. On the night before the wedding Astral-Prue gets into a fight with a patron who later turns up dead, leaving Prue as main suspect of the murder.


Death Takes a Halliwell / season 3 - episode 16
Directed by: Jon Paré

While at the beach with Phoebe (Alyssa Milano), Prue (Shannen Doherty) notices that a woman spying on them has a mysterious shadow lurking behind her. They soon learn the woman is involved with Inspector Davidson's investigation of Cole possibly killing his former landlord. Prue proceeds to follow the woman and discovers the shadow is really the Angel of Death and becomes obsessed with preventing him from taking the life of another innocent. Meanwhile, the girls learn that a pair of Seekers are responsible for the deaths and are extracting information to learn of Cole's whereabouts, which puts the girls and Inspector Davidson's lives at risk.


Pre-Witched / season 3 - episode 17

If the power of three is necessary for fighting all the evil that has a nasty way of finding them, what happens when one sister is across town in her newlywed nest? When Piper (Holly Marie Combs) makes the announcement "by-the-way style, the decision reminds them all of what life was like before they knew of their powers. In a series of flashbacks, the girls remember back to when Grams was alive, the only thing keeping them together was their stubborn grandmother . Prue (Shannen Doherty) was getting married, Piper was facing a bank job she didn't like and a life taking care of Grams, and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) was out of control shoplifting and fighting with her sisters. Secretly, Grams was poised to prevent the squabbling girls from getting their powers.


Sin Francisco / season 3 - episode 18

The sisters cross paths with a demon that attacks his victims by infecting them with one of the seven deadly sins in order to steal their souls. When the girls and Leo (Brian Krause) each become infected with one of the sins, they the must struggle not only to defeat the demon, but save themselves from succumbing to the powers of their sins. Piper (Holly Marie Combs), Leo and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) go to the demon lair to save Prue (Shannen Doherty). They discover the box with the orbs, freeze the demon, vanquish him by infecting him with the remaining sins and save Prue.


The Demon Who Came In from the Cold / season 3 - episode 19

When Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) kills a demon that just murdered an innocent phophet, she learn the demon was one of Cole's brothers. Cole explains that he was hand picked by the Source to be in an elite demonic gang called the Brotherhood of the Thorn, and his brothers probably murdered the phophet so the plans of their current operation are not revealed. Against Phoebe's wishes Cole decides to return to the Brotherhood to discover their plan, so the sisters can formulate a plan to stop the Brotherhood.


Exit Strategy / season 3 - episode 20
Directed by: Joel Feigenbaum
Written by: Peter Hume & Daniel Cerone
Cole wakes up and Rainer says he thought Cole was an intruder and apologizes for blasting him, he then orders Cole to steal a witch's amulet. Cole shimmers away, but he tells Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) about the assignment and that he won't kill the witch, he urges her to keep working on the potion to get rid of his demon powers. Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Leo (Brian Krause) are standing in line for his passport, when Piper develops her new power to explode things. Cole steals the amulet from the witch and leaves her unharmed, but Rainer comes back and kills her. Phoebe and Prue (Shannen Doherty) find the witch, but are too late. At the Manor, Piper is experimenting with her new power, while Phoebe and Prue talk to Leo and find out that there are two amulets. If they amulets are combined the wearer becomes invincible, but this power doesn't work for Demons. Cole returns with the amulet and Rainer sends him to get the other amulet.


Look Who's Barking / season 3 - episode 21

Written by: Curtis Kheel, Monica Breen & Alison Schapker
The sisters hunt for a demon that attacks people who are in deep sorrow, but when they perform a tracking spell, they inadvertently turn Prue (Shannen Doherty) into a Siberian husky. Prue discovers that the murderer is really a Banshee demon who seeks out people whose souls are in pain and kills them with her screams. They find a tracking spell, but it has to be performed on one of the Charmed Ones in order to find the demon. Prue volunteers and is transformed into a dog, "Prujo." Prujo begins to pick up the trail of the Banshee, while Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) are in pursuit. They find the Banshee and fight her, but the demon runs away. Prujo runs after her, but is hit by a car and taken to the vet by the driver. Since they've lost Prujo, Piper and Phoebe head back to the manor. At the Manor, Phoebe goes to the attic and begins to cry, because she's still in love with Cole, but can't forgive him for killing a witch.


All Hell Breaks Loose / season 3 - episode 22

The girls save Dr. Griffis, from a demon named Shax. Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) goes to the attic for a vanquishing spell, Shafts bursts through the door and blasts Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Prue (Shannen Doherty) through a wall. He tries to kill Dr. Griffis but Phoebe chants her spell making Shax disappear, she then summons Leo (Brian Krause) to heal Prue and Piper. Prue feels that Shax is still alive, so she and Piper search for him. He attacks and Piper uses her power to blow him up, unbeknownst to them, the scene is caught on tape by a news reporter. The girls tell Phoebe what happened and convince Griffis to keep their secret. Phoebe wants to use a potion on Cole to destroy his evil side and asks her sisters to send her to Cole. She's face to face with Cole and he grabs her by the throat, she smashes the potion on his back and he kisses her. At a television station, the reporter and her boss decide to air the tape again and get an exclusive interview.
