Charmed Again (1) / season 4 - episode 1

Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) mourn the loss of their sister, while Leo (Brian Krause) tries to help Phoebe and Cole escape from the Source's assassins, but he sends more demons after them. He then asks his oracle find Balthazar, who proclaims he cannot be found. She also says that the Charmed Ones could be reconstituted, revealing the existence of "another". Paige Matthews (Rose McGowan) is a recovering alcoholic who was adopted after her birth parents (Patty Halliwell and her whitelighter, Sam) they left her with a nun at a church. Paige goes to Prue's (Shannen Doherty) funeral after a newspaper opened to the obituaries lands the floor by her desk at the social services office.


Charmed Again (2) / season 4 - episode 2

Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) gets a premonition so powerful that knocks her off her feet of Paige (Rose McGowan) being killed by the demon that killed Prue (Shannen Doherty). Paige wants to learn more about herself and where she came from, since she feels a strong connection to the Halliwells, so she goes to visit the nun who cared for her when Patty and Sam left her. Sister Anges tells her her parents were angels, appearing in a white light. The sisters are aprehensive of each other, but they work together to fight the Source, who disguises himself as Paige's boyfriend of one month, Shane.


Hell Hath No Fury / season 4 - episode 3

New to the witchy world of The Charmed Ones, Paige (Rose McGowan) is learning to control her new telekinetic powers and steals the Book of Shadows from Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) and Piper (Holly Marie Combs), by dropping it out of the attic window, to use the spells for personal gain. Paige helps co-workers get what they want by casting a few spells but backfire on her giving her large breasts. When Piper begins to become a Fury, it is up to Phoebe and Paige to find out why she is so angry. In the end, Paige forces Piper to see that she isn't angry at the situation with Paige and her mom, she's angry at Prue (Shannen Doherty) for leaving them all alone.


Enter the Demon / season 4 - episode 4

Paige makes a major blunder when carelessly mixing potions for Piper (Holly Marie Combs) while secretly wishing she could be in Phoebe’s (Alyssa Milano) shoes training for combat, and ends up actually switching bodies with Phoebe. While the two sisters try to reverse the spell and struggle to harness each other’s powers, they must battle a Zen Master’s powerful disciple who has turned evil against his mentor and opened up a portal between two worlds.


Size Matters / season 4 - episode 5

When Paige (Rose McGowan) gets a creepy feeling about a house she passes by each day, she asks her sisters to investigate. Piper (Holly Marie Combs) is too busy redoing P3 to bother, and when Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) goes alone, the demon Gamill, who was disfigured by another demon, she is shrunk to only five inches tall. Gamill is known for his one of a kind figurines, which are really young women he has shrunken and covered with clay. When Paige convinces Piper and Leo (Brian Krause) to help her after Phoebe comes up missing, they go to the house. Finn, one of Gamill's creations, lives with him and brings him the women that he models. Paige had met him before, and Finn, not wanting Paige to be turned into a figurine, takes her away from the house. Gamill watches Finn do this, and follows them back to the manor, where he kills Finn and shrinks Piper and Paige.


A Knight to Remember / season 4 - episode 6

Paige’s (Rose McGowan) favorite childhood fairy tale suddenly becomes real, bringing her face-to-face with a past life as an Evil Enchantress from Medieval times and into the arms of a Knight in Shining Armor. Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) and Piper (Holly Marie Combs) go back in time and end up trapped in the Dark Ages. Leo (Brian Krause) shows his stuff in the episode, fighting off a bunch of trained knights with a sword. Paige binds the enchantresses powers, and reverses the spell cast on the prince. The sisters return to their own time, and Paige agrees to move into the manor, and the first thing the sisters do as "roomies" is vanquish the shocker demon.


Brain Drain / season 4 - episode 7

Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) and Paige (Rose McGowan) must work quickly before Piper (Holly Marie Combs) is tricked into giving up all of their powers when The Source taps into her brain, altering her perception of reality and placing her in a mental institution. In the dream, Piper has no sisters, no husband, and Leo (Brian Krause) offers to marry her if she relinquishes her powers by saying the spell she has locked away in her memory. The doctor tells her that Prue (Shannen Doherty) admitted to not being a witch and was freed from the hospital. Piper's powers won't work in the dream state that the Source is holding her in, and when she escapes from the hospital, she is run over by a car when she tries to freeze it before it hits her. Meanwhile, her sisters are trying desperately to find her. Cole "squeezes" the information about where Piper is from another chameleon, and he takes Leo down to the underworld to find her.


Black as Cole / season 4 - episode 8

Written by: Brad Kern, Nell Scovell and Abbey Campbell
While mulling over a marriage proposal from Cole, Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) come in contact with Cole's demonic half when a widow shows up seeking revenge for her fiance's murder by a demon. Meanwhile, Paige (Rose McGowan) encourages Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Leo (Brian Krause) to test their parenting skills by bringing home robotic baby. Piper is not very receptive to the idea, while Leo tries to show her how it could work for them. The new ADA, a demon who emulates Belthazor named Sikes, is out to take Cole's rightful place in the demon hierarchy by killing off a coven of witches in order to lure Belthazor out. Sikes is killed by Belthazor, who takes over Cole's body and his human half.


Muse to My Ears / season 4 - episode 9

Phoebe (Alyssa Milano), Paige (Rose McGowan) and Piper (Holly Marie Combs) must stop Warlocks who are enslaving the world’s muses to use their divine creative inspiration for evil. In the midst of the assault, Cole becomes testy about Phoebe’s rebuffing his marriage proposal and is concerned that without his demonic powers he can no longer protect the love of his life. Paige, suddenly surrounded with an over-abundance of inspiration, decides to make a sketch of the warlock. When their own muse is captured by the warlock, Devlin, the sisters must look within themselves to find the inspiration for the vanquish of the century.


A Paige from the Past / season 4 - episode 10

While Paige (Rose McGowan) is sent back to past to confront the reason her parents were killed in a car crash, Piper (Holly Marie Combs) must find a way to banish the ghosts that have possessed Phoebe's (Alyssa Milano) and Cole's bodies. The spirits, outlaws from the fifties, have an unfinished job to do. One that involves the ring and dress that they stole at gunpoint. Paige, who is sent back to her high school days right before her parents died, is given the opportunity to understand why they were killed and that it was never her fault, as she had always believed.


Trial by Magic / season 4 - episode 11

While serving on a murder trial, Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) has a premonition that reveals the defendant is innocent despite the overwhelming evidence against him. As she desperately stalls in the jury room, Piper (Holly Marie Combs), Paige (Rose McGowan) and Leo (Brian Krause) frantically try to discover the real killer in time to free the wrongly accused man. Paige's former boyfriend and still best friend, Glenn, comes to visit and discovers the Charmed Ones secret life.


Lost and Bound / season 4 - episode 12

Now that Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) has finally accepted Cole's proposal, he finds it necessary to go out and find himself, as a mortal. While Phoebe is still worried about losing her identity if she gets married, Piper (Holly Marie Combs) gives Cole Grams' ring for Phoebe to wear. Slowly, it begins to turn her into the perfect housewife, like Samantha Stevens from the fifties. Paige (Rose McGowan) gets Cole a position at the social services office as a legal aide, and she finds a young boy who had run away from his foster parents. He is what's called a Firestarter, which is a rare and coveted magical being. Afraid for the boy's safety, she takes him back to the manor, where Piper and Leo (Brian Krause) are arguing about whether or not they will bind their future children's powers.


Charmed and Dangerous / season 4 - episode 13

Learning that he is fated to be vanquished by The Charmed Ones, The Source taps into the ultimate power of The Hollow, which consumes all magical powers, both good and evil. As he goes after Phoebe (Alyssa Milano), Paige (Rose McGowan) and Piper's (Holly Marie Combs) powers one by one, the lives of both Leo (Brian Krause) and Cole hang in the balance. While attempting to reproduce her exploding power, Piper has a chat with Leo, who received new info from the elders. Before they have a chance to use the information that Leo gave them, a dark-lighter appears and shoots Leo through the abdomen. He refuses to let Phoebe switch powers with him so he can be healed, in case the Source tries to attack.


The Three Faces of Phoebe / season 4 - episode 14

Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) develops a case of cold feet over marrying Cole and casts a spell which brings a young innocent Phoebe and an old cynical Phoebe to the Manor to help her make a decision. Cole now finds The Source is taking over his entire being. The Source's chief rival, who believes The Source is dead, is convinced by The Seer to kill The Charmed Ones in order to earn the allegiance of the entire underworld.


Marry-Go-Round / season 4 - episode 15

The Seer has a vision that if Cole and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) have a child together, that child will grow up to be one of the most powerful magical beings ever. Cole, who has now been completely taken over by the Source, and the Seer work together to make sure that Cole and Phoebe's wedding is a dark one, to ensure that their powerful child will work for evil and not good. Cole uses magic to cause a series of disasters that foster sibling rivalry between Phoebe and Paige (Rose McGowan), but no matter what he does the sisters somehow fix it. Finally, Cole has the church wedding attacked by a demon, and the wedding has to be cancelled at the last minute. While burying the demon in the cemetary to prevent its resurrection, the Charmed Ones spot an adorable chapel in a mausoleum, and Cole is pleased when Phoebe agrees to get married there.


The Fifth Halliwell / season 4 - episode 16

Cole, with help from the Seer, begins his plan to get Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) pregnant with his demon child. Meanwhile, Paige (Rose McGowan) becomes more and more suspicious that Cole is demonic. The Charmed Ones encounter an innocent, Karen, who has been attacked by a power broker (demon brokers who actually trade powers and occasionally store them in humans) and is slowly going insane. While Paige and Piper (Holly Marie Combs) work on a potion to cure Karen, Phoebe goes to her job at the newspaper and writes her advice column for her so that she doesn't get fired. Cole decides that another power broker should attack Paige so that she'll go insane and her sisters won't believe her when she says that Cole is evil. Paige goes crazy and starts to attack Cole, so Piper knocks her out. Cole has gotten rid of all the potion that cured Karen, but he admits that they could find another power broker to save Paige.


Saving Private Leo / season 4 - episode 17

Two ghosts from Leo's (Brian Krause) past come back to take their revenge. Although Rick and Nathan Lang were originally Leo's best friends, they believe in death that their friend abandoned them when they needed him most. Without consulting Leo, Piper (Holly Marie Combs) sent in a RSVP for her husband to attend the Guadacanal reunion as Leo Wyatt III, the original Leo's "grandson." The Langs see the registration and hunt down Leo. It doesn't take them long to realize that Leo is the same Leo they knew, and he's now a white lighter. When they realize they can't kill Leo, they go after the people that he cares about. First they kill a schoolteacher that Leo has been grooming to become another white lighter, and in Leo's grief and guilt and he loses his white lighter powers. Then the brothers attack Piper.


Bite Me / season 4 - episode 18

With hopes of unseating Cole as the ruler of the Underworld, a Vampire Queen orders her fanged charges to attack Paige (Rose McGowan) and turn her into a blood-sucker to get a Charmed One on their side. Paige's undead transformation isn't sealed until she takes her first victim, and the Vampire Queen urges her to feed on her two sisters, Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) and Piper (Holly Marie Combs). Phoebe and Piper go up against the Vampire Queen, hoping that if they can kill her they will set Paige free. Unknown to the sisters, Cole, to protect himself, kills the Vampire Queen and ends up saving Paige.


We're Off to See the Wizard / season 4 - episode 19
Directed by: Tim Lonsdale
Written by: Alison Schapker & Monica Breen
Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) tells Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Paige (Rose McGowan) that she is pregnant, and that Cole is the father. Meanwhile Piper and Paige team up with a wizard to stop a coronation of the new Source, unaware that it's Cole and Phoebe is soon to be the Queen of the Underworld.


Long Live the Queen / season 4 - episode 20

With the evil baby growing inside her, Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) is still torn between helping her sisters save innocents and taking on the duties of Cole's Queen. Cole pushes Phoebe to drink a tonic to strengthen the baby, knowing full well that this will also suppress her goodness. Piper (Holly Marie Combs), believing she has lost another sister to evil, becomes despondent and turns to drink to numb her pain. Paige (Rose McGowan) comes up with a plan to get Phoebe to see the light and help her sisters vanquish Cole.


Womb Raider / season 4 - episode 21

The Seer enlists the help of a 7 foot, 2 inch demon nobody has figured out how to vanquish to help her magically take the baby from Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) and become The Source in the process. The baby inside Phoebe starts to take over her body turning her into an evil creature of instinct, nearly killing three people, including Paige (Rose McGowan). Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Paige must figure out ways to thwart The Seer's plans after The Seer casts a spell to place the unborn baby in her womb.


Witch Way Now? / season 4 - episode 22

When the Angel of Destiny offers the sisters a chance to relinquish their powers and lead normal lives as a reward for vanquishing The Source of all Evil, their decision is put on the back burner, while they try and avoid an FBI agent who has them under surveillance and deal with Cole's calls for help, who is trapped in another realm, holding on to his love for Phoebe (Alyssa Milano).
