Milano) is ecstatic about her new bilboards that have gone up around town, but is still upset when her divorce from Cole is nulled after he returns. Paige (Rose
McGowan), meanwhile, is promoted to social worker, which leaves her in a tight spot when a mermaid seeks out Phoebe for help. The mermaid, Mylie, is on the run from the Sea Hag who seeks her immortality as payment to a skeletal being, Necron. She had thirty days to find love or she had to give up her immortality, and she thought she had found it, but her beau has yet to tell her that he loves her.

When the Demon of Fear, Barbas returns to seek revenge on The Charmed Ones for vanquishing him years ago, he goes after Cole, who desperately wants to be good, so Paige (Rose
McGowan) performs a spell to cast the evil out of him. The evil emerges and takes the form of a black shadow. The Demon of Fear reappears, absorbs the shadow, and goes to kill Cole so he can keep Cole's evil forever. When the Charmed Ones try to protect Cole, the Demon of Fear traps them in the manor and preys on their fears, so that the girls find themselves in a "psychologically" haunted house.
A Witch in Time / season 5 - episode 8

After repeatedly saving her boyfriend, Miles, from a death which is meant to happen, Phoebe (Alyssa
Milano) opens a portal in time which allows a warlock from six months in the future to get through. The warlock, who was sent by future Cole to warn present Cole about Phoebe's death in the future, is blown off by Cole, and so he sets off on his own to attack the Charmed Ones and steal the Book of Shadows, which would allow him to take over the underworld without hassle. After they steal the book, they put Phoebe and Paige (Rose
McGowan) "out of commision", leaving Piper (Holly
Marie Combs) alone to reverse all of the damage.
Sam I Am / season 5 - episode 9

Grams shows up to perform the ceremony and warns them about The Necromancer, a ghostly demon who sucks up power from the spirits of the dead. The last time he attacked was at mama Halliwell's Wiccanning. He's likely to try again so he can prey on the spirits of the Halliwell matriarchs to gain eternal life. Piper (Holly
Marie Combs) is horrified to discover that Grams doesn't want anything to do with her great-grandson, simply because he's a boy. Grams isn't displaying much love for the males of the species, she tells Piper that she won't officiate the Wiccanning because Wyatt is a boy. What's more, she implies that Piper must have seriously screwed up to have a boy-child in the first place.

Piper stews over her missing husband. She's pissed as all hell that Leo (Brian
Krause) has gone AWOL. The other sisters are missing Leo too, they need his advice. Chris orbs back in to check on the situation. Paige and Phoebe prove helpless without Leo, and Piper is on modified strike until she can talk to her husband again.
