Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) discovers she has a new power-to read minds.Paige (Rose McGowan) casts a spell on Piper (Holly Marie Combs) after realising Leo (Brian Krause) had cast a spell on her to let her cope with him leaving but the spell backfires and Piper looses her whole memory.Piper is having toruble coping with the loss of Leo and looses control of her powers.Paige tries to help by casting a spell on her that gives her total amnesia.Paige discovers that Leo has become a prisoner so her and Phoebe rescue him with Chris (Drew Fuller) becasue it was his fault in the first place.Piper sees Leo and iher memory is restored so she decides that she should stay on the island becasue she can't cope withought Leo.

Meanwhile, Phoebe discovers she has a new power and Paige takes a job as a dogwalker and is amazed when one of her dogs is transformed back into a man.

Wyatt inadvertently brings a dragon to life, the Cleaners, a neutral group dedicated to protecting magic from being exposed, take the child away and erase all signs and memories of his existence. Meanwhile, Piper learns that Wyatt has been sabotaging her dates; Phoebe receives a new writing partner; Paige finds a friend in Richard; and Chris' (Drew Fuller) attempt to return to the future, sends him and Leo (Brian Krause) traveling back in time.

The Lady of the Lake appears before the Charmed Ones, pleading for their help in protecting Excalibur, the legendary Sword in the Stone. A dozen magical beings arrive at the manor to try their hand at pulling the sword from the stone, but it's Piper (Holly Marie Combs) who finally pulls Excalibur out of the stone, causing a whirlwind that coalesces into a mysterious figure called Mordaunt. Richard realizes that Mordaunt can't be trusted, but before he can intervene, Mordaunt tricks Piper into relinquishing the sword and its power to him.

A woman from the future called Bianca,arrives to take Chris's (Drew Fuller) powers.We learn that Chris and Bianca were once engaged but she sent chris back to the past to stop Wyatt from becoming evil.We see that in the future,the Sisters had been killed by demons and the manor is now a museum in which people can take tours.Bianca makes him come back to the future but he gives Piper (Holly Marie Combs) a clue, and the sisters write a spell and place it under the floor boards for Chris to find and use in the future to get his powers back.Chris returns home and the sisters discover he has been liying to them,he is half witch half whitelighter like Paige (Rose McGowan), but he can't say why in order not to change the future.

When Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) and Paige (Rose McGowan) realise that Gideon is evil, they get back to the normal world, but things have changed.They have upset the balance by going to the bad world, so good and evil are not balanced any more. Phoeobe and Paige go to the hospital where they find out people get their hands chopped off, just for using a phone where it is not allowed.Piper (Holly Marie Combs) will not believe them that Gideon is evil, so Leo (Brian Krause) has to correct this messed up world.Only a great evil can return the world to normail, so he kills Gideon in an angry, powerfull way, the world returns to normal and Wyatt is saved.
