The Television Serie

Closer in stature to Little and Large but in talent to Morecambe and Wise, Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders stepped out of the 'alternative comedy' ensemble to headline this marvellous, long-running show. Their double-act personae had been created and honed on stage, playing the London clubs and fringe cabaret venues in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Stevie writes: Hi there, Im trying to identify a French and Saunders programme that I first saw years ago. Dawn French had her own horse and had invited Jennifer round to play horses for the day. I recall that Jennifer spent most of her time running around the field behind the horse or jumping small fences without the horse. Thats as much as i can remember unfortunately, but any information on what programme this might have been would be most appreciated.
