The decision was to destroy all the robots, that's why President Nixon organized a party for all the robots in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador. When all the robots were gonna be destroyed, the Professor made the robots use their escapes to move the Earth further from the Sun.
Jurassic Bark / season 5 - episode 2 Written by: Eric Kaplan Directed by: Swinton O. Scott III Fry (Philip Fry) and Bender (Bender Rodriguez) found in a 20th Century exposition Panucci's Pizza and Fry's petrified dog, Seymour. Fry decided to clone Seymour, but he was so busy with that, that he didn't listen Bender. The day Seymour was gonna be cloned Bender was so jealous that threw the dog in lava, but realizing that Fry was hurt with his action, he save it. Fry decided to stop the second intent of clone Seymour because the dog lived 12 more years since he was frozen and probably wouldn't remember him. The truth was another because Seymour waited Fry all his life.
The Route Of All Evil / season 5 - episode 3 Written by: Dan Vebber Directed by: Brian Sheesley Father-son relationships become strained when Cubert and Hermes' son Dwight are suspended from boarding school. Bored with having nothing to do the boys get up to mischief by sending the Planet Express crew on a fake delivery mission. When they find out about this Hermes and Farnsworth (Professor Farnsworth) decide enough is enough - the boys must get jobs. And they do. They set up a competing delivery company. Meanwhile Fry (Philip Fry), Leela (Turanga Leela) and Bender (Bender Rodriguez) brew their own beer.
A Taste Of Freedom / season 5 - episode 4 Written by: Eric Horsted Directed by: James Purdum It was Freedom Day on Earth and people could do whatever, but Zoidberg ate the Earth flag and everyone tried to kill him. He went to the Decapodian embassy. The Supreme Court demanded an apology but Zoidberg refused, action that made the Decapodians invade Earth and made the all people slaves. Zoidberg was ok with all this until they killed the person that defended him when everyone else tried to kill him. With a Earth flag in fire Zoidberg helped the Earth to be free.
Kif Gets Knocked Up A Notch / season 5 - episode 5 Written by: Bill Odenkirk Directed by: Wes Archer Kif begins to worry about the effect his and Amy's long distance relationship is having on him so Amy hijacks the ship in the middle of a mission to rendevous with the Nimbus and see Kif. Kif takes her on a romantic evening to the Nimbus's holoshed which malfunctions and the holograms come alive. On the Nimbus's bridge Zapp ejects the holograms into space and everyone else almost loses their lives. In a check up afterwards Kif discovers he was impregnated by someone he touched when the bridge decompressed. And Amy is not the mother.
Less Than Hero / season 5 - episode 6 Written by: Ron Weiner Directed by: Susan Dietter Fry (Philip Fry) and Leela (Turanga Leela) discovered that they had super powers thanks to a miracle cream that Dr. Zoidberg gave them. They formed a superhero duet that later was a trio including Bender (Bender Rodriguez) called The New Justice Team. They stopped a lot of criminals but Leela couldn't make it to an appointment that she had with her mutant parents in NNYC. She tell her parents that she was a superhero, but when an arch villain called the Zookeeper knew about it, kidnapped her parents to make the trio stole a jewel. The final gets worst when Fry and Leela have no more cream to use.
Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles / season 5 - episode 7 Written by: Jeff Westbrook Directed by: Bret Haaland Trying to make the Professor less old, the crew goes to a spa planet but in the youthasizing treatment all the crew gets sprinkled with youth tar and they became teenagers once again. The younger Professor found a way to reverse the effects but he screwed it more when everyone started to get younger every day. Leela (Turanga Leela) not used the treatment because she wanted to be a teenager with parents. The solution was to go the Fountain Of Youth to be older, but in the process the Professor was about to die when the teenager Leela saved him but she ended with the real age she had.
The Why Of Fry / season 5 - episode 8 Written by: David X. Cohen Directed by: Wes Archer While out on a date with Chaz, and aide to Mayor Poopenmeyer, Leela (Turanga Leela) meets Fry (Philip Fry) and asks him to walk Nibbler. On the streets at night Fry tells Nibbler about how much of a loser he is and suddenly Nibbler begins to talk. He knocks Fry unconcious and takes him to the Hall Of Forever on Planet Eternium where the Nibblonians tell him the Brainspawn are back and are planning to destroy the universe after collecting all of its information in a giant Infosphere. Fry is the only one immune to the effects of the Brainspawn because of the special relationship he had with his grandmother. While on the mission Fry discovers what really happened to him on December 31st 1999.
The Sting / season 5 - episode 9 Written by: Patric M. Verrone Directed by: Brian Sheesley Farnsworth (Professor Farnsworth) sends Fry (Philip Fry), Leela (Turanga Leela) and Bender (Bender Rodriguez) to collect honey from a hive of Space Bees, the place where the last Planet Express crew met their doom. While there Leela adopts herself a baby Queen Bee. Bender offends the bees and they give chase to the crew but they manage to escape the hive in the ship. But Leela's bee doesn't play fair and tries to sting her but Fry takes the sting for her and dies on the spot. After his funeral Leela begins to have strange recurring dreams where Fry offers her clues that he is still alive.
The Farnsworth Parabox / season 5 - episode 10 Written by: Bill Odenkirk Directed by: Ron Hughart Farnsworth (Professor Farnsworth) orders Leela (Turanga Leela) to stand guard of an empty box for him that contains something mysterious and mustn't be opened at all. Leela manages to go the whole night without looking inside the box but the next morning she can't contain her curiosity any longer and looks inside the box. The box sucks her into a parallel universe where she meets the Planet Express crew's possible evil counterparts. The crew from the alternate dimension capture our crew and both suspect the other of being evil. Until they discover they get along quite well. The Zoidbergs also get on quite well and conspire to steal the alternate-Farnsworth's box. They do so and disappear. Then the rest of the crews find out what Hermes is doing to the box in the original universe.
Three Hundred Big Boys / season 5 - episode 11 Written by: Eric Kaplan Directed by: Swinton O. Scott III After the Earth achieved victory over the spider homeworld, president Nixon returned to the taxpayers $300. Fry (Philip Fry) decided to drink 100 coffee cups and Bender (Bender Rodriguez) to stole "Le Grand Cigar" with a $300 burglars tools. Kif gave Amy a clock that ended inside a whale that Leela (Turanga Leela) was gonna swim with. Hermes bought a Bamboo Boogie Boots to Dwight and they never could get down. The Professor bought stem cells to be young for a while. Zapp invited Leela and the crew to the reception to display the national silk surplus. in the reception, Bender smoke the cigar but Hermes appeared with the Bamboo boots and the cigar set a fire to the place. Fry drunk the 100th coffee cup and he saved everyone from the fire. Meanwhile, Zoidberg tried to live like rich people.
Spanish Fry / season 5 - episode 12 Written by: Ron Weiner Directed by: Peter Avanzino The crew goes camping in a national Bigfoot reserve and Fry (Philip Fry) believes that that creature lives there. He goes to the forest in the middle of the nigh to find Bigfoot and he is abducted by aliens that stole his nose. The crew goes to a flea market to get Fry's nose and discovered that Lrrr bought his nose (Human Horn) because it was an aphrodisiac for aliens. In Omicro persei 8 Fry recovered his nose but Bender (Bender Rodriguez) talked about the secondary horn between Fry's legs. Leela (Turanga Leela) then tried to revive the love between Lrrr and Nd-Nd without using that horn.
Bend Her / season 5 - episode 13 Written by: Mike Rowe Directed by: James Purdum Bender (Bender Rodriguez) decides to take part in the women's Olympic contests disguised as a woman named Coilette. He wins in every event and is called for a sex test. Fearing his five gold medals will be taken away from him he asks Farnsworth (Professor Farnsworth) to make him a woman. The glamorous Coilette is born. As Coilette, Bender enjoys the high life, appearing on late night talkshows and dating All My Circuits lead Calculon. But Bender starts to develop feelings for Calculon when Coilette's hormones start taking over him. Things are made worse when Calculon proposes.
Obsoletely Fabulous / season 5 - episode 14 Written by: Dan Vebber Directed by: Dwayne Carey-Hill Mom unveils her company's new robot, a robot that is fuelled by pollution, which Farnsworth (Professor Farnsworth) immediately buys. Robot 1-X starts to outdo Bender (Bender Rodriguez) in all of his tasks and even saves his life at one point. Bender begins to fear Robot 1-X and seeks an upgrade to make him compatible with it. He chickens out in the middle of the upgrade and sets sail for a desert island where he meets some obsolete robots. Discovering he doesn't need technology to be happy, Bender undergoes a downgrade and declares war on all technology.
Bender Should Not Be Allowed On TV / season 5 - episode 15 Written by: Lewis Morton Directed by: Ron Hughart While watching "All My Circuits" Calculon's son gets damaged, Bender (Bender Rodriguez) decides to get the role and be part of the Soap Opera. Then Bender started to cheat, steal, smoke, drink and curse on TV, and he became a great success. With Cubert and Dwight watching the show all day they decide to be as cool as Bender and stole Bender's stuff. Meanwhile, the Professor and Hermes decided to create the Fathers Against Raunchy Television (FART) to stop Bender. When Bender realized that he was a bad stereotype for kids he joined the FART and banned himself from TV.
The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings / season 5 - episode 16 Written by: Ken Keeler Directed by: Rich Moore When Fry (Philip Fry) tried once again to win Leela's (Turanga Leela) heart, he tried to learn how to play the Holorophone, but he sucked trying to do it. Fry then made a treat with the Beezlebot to use the hands of a Robot from a roulette that had the names of all the robots in the universe. Fry was lucky because the roulette stopped in the Beezlebot name. Fry then was a master of the Holorophone and ended composing and playing an opera about the way he felt about Leela. The problem was that Leela was deaf due to a trickery of the Beezlebot that later ofered Leela hears in exchange of "her hand". In the middle of the opera, the Beezlebot reclaimed his hands, but Fry didn't wanted to change them. The Beezlebot then told Fry that Leela actually changed "her hand in marriage" for a couple of hears. Fry then had no choice that return the Beezlebot hands to the owner. report error and omissions here
