Bertie Wooster is a 'young gentleman' of limited intellect who has a tendency to get into 'scrapes'. His manservant, Jeeves , on the other hand, is a man of 'considerable brain'.The distance between the two men was created by class distinctions based on an unwritten code of the superiority of inherited status. Jeeves and the 'young master' don't always see eye to eye on sartorial matters.
