Section wins and Michael (Roy Dupuis) goes to catch the Directory, but Hardin is killed by Benko before it happens. Now, Section search for every possible person that could has the disk with the directory. Unfortunately, they don’t find it, but decide to use one of the civilians they investigated, Gray Wellman, to make Benko thinks that Gray has the directory. Nikita (Peta Wilson) is sent to become a friend of Gray, to convince Benko. But, once more, her life is put in risk at a carelessness of Section. However, the country’s police is after Michael, under Petrosian’s command, what makes Operations to change his mind: Madeline (Alberta Watson) (at a rare moment outside Section) and Nikita are sent back as cosmetics saleswomen while Michael gets Angie’s sympathy and her help. War / season 1 - episode 17 Directed By: Rene Bonniere Written By: Maurice Hurley Guest Starring: James Faulkner Section is under attack, because Red Cell is with Section’s lost Directory, so they have to leave their compound to move to a substation. Only a few operatives (including Michael (Roy Dupuis)) know the location of it, but Michael tells it to Nikita (Peta Wilson), in case of something happen to him. All the field operatives are going to work in pairs, and Michael and Nikita go together on a mission after Garsha, a man who works for Red Cell, to gather Intel. They find the location of one of Red Cell’s warehouses, but then Nikita is captured. Michael goes to save her, but fails too. Both of them are tortured, and Michael declares his feelings for Nikita. Just when Red Cell is going to torture Michael again, Nikita brakes. Nikita accepts Ops purpose, but asks for her freedom in return. Nikita knows that she can’t do it, but O’Brien is very insistent, and she don’t want to leave Section to handle him, ‘cause she knows what they would do. The problem is that now O’Brien is affecting missions, so Nikita has a desperate idea to end with it. They don’t exactly know how that works. For this reason, Nikita (Peta Wilson) is chosen to be the guinea pig and test the shell. This way they find out that the machine fakes the person’s fears to make then get trough it, but it also does a “brainwash” to make the person to execute some jobs, without care about that death is a collateral possibility. Section can’t let it happens, of course. A team – including Michael (Roy Dupuis) and Nikita (Peta Wilson) – is ordered to a party where Jovan Mijovich’s new victory is going to be celebrated. Section saves the day and get Griffin, but another man, Bruner, utilize the situation to claim revenge against Mijovich: according to Bruner, Mijovich did horrible things to his family and village, during the war, The only live but blind testimony, is Bruner’s daughter (Maria). She is not capable to do that, what brings serious problems to her and to Section: they have to do something before the bad guys get the formula of the material, and Operations (Eugene Glazer) decides to cancel her on a abeyance mission.
