Based on the Inspector Barnaby Books by Caroline Graham , Midsomer Murders are filmed in beautiful English villages in and around the Buckinghamshire area. As well as the usual mystery\suspense you would expect from this type of drama there is also a strong humorous undercurrent and the opposing traits of the two main characters all make for very enjoyable viewing.

Alla just said: I really liked Scott and his dry sense of humour. John Hopkins returned to the theatre after leaving MM. I've seen him on stage and he's a wonderful actor. He was Octavius in 'Antony and Cleopatra' with the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford and London (pictures here: http://www.rsc.org.uk/explore/workspace/antony_2128.htm). More recently, he played Harcourt in 'The Country Wife' in the West End (pictures here: http://wooller.com/?page=10696). Were these episodes made under different names? or were they made at all? I would appreciate your help on this.
