George (Jason Alexander) thinks that she is just using Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) as contingency plan. Kramer (Michael Richards) comes by to borrow a couple of pieces of meat. The girl calls and asks Jerry if she can stay at his apartment for the night, when she arrives she asks to stay for another night. Jerry is disappointed when everything is going his way until he finds out she is engaged.
The Stakeout / season 1 - episode 2 Writer: Larry David & Jerry Seinfeld Director: Tom Cherones Jerry Seinfeld (Jerry Seinfeld), a nightclub comedian, and his ex-girlfriend, Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), agree to join each other as dates for some upcoming social obligations. While at a birthday party for a friend of Elaine's, Jerry meets Vanessa, an attractive young lawyer. Although she leaves before he learns her name, Jerry does manage to remember the name of her law firm. While wanting to see her again, Jerry is reluctant to ask Elaine for her name, fearing she will be upset about his interest in another woman. Unsure about what to do, Jerry takes his father's advice and stakes out the lobby of Vanessa's office at lunch time.
The Robbery / season 1 - episode 3 Writer: Matt Goldman Director: Tom Cherones Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) house-sits for Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) and the apartment gets robbed when Kramer (Michael Richards) leaves the door open. George (Jason Alexander) finds a great apartment for Jerry but George also really wants the apartment and then gets jealous so neither of them take it. Meanwhile, Kramer searches for the stolen property.
Male Unbonding / season 1 - episode 4 Writer: Larry David & Jerry Seinfeld Director: Tom Cherones Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) comes home to his apartment to find his neighbor, Kramer (Michael Richards), on the phone with Joel, a childhood acquaintance who Jerry doesn't like but has felt obligated to see all these years. Taking the phone from Kramer, Jerry is roped into seeing Joel once again. Upset at having made the date, Jerry searches for a way to break his friendship off with Joel. Over lunch, Jerry tries being honest with Joel, teffing him their friendship is not working out and that he would rather not have to see him again. However, when Joel gets upset, Jerry backs down, telling him to forget everything he said.
The Stock Tip / season 1 - episode 5 Writer: Larry David & Jerry Seinfeld Director: Tom Cherones George (Jason Alexander) and Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) get a hot stock tip and act on it. Jerry quickly sells his stock after the price dips down dramatically. George is determined to go down with the ship so to speak and holds onto the stock. The stock rebounds and then George sells it and enjoys his new found wealth. He tips big at the coffee shop but old habits are hard to break as he reaches for some of the money he just gave and retrieves it from the waitress. Jerry plans a weekend trip with his girlfriend, Vanessa but George insists that those sorts of trips are relationship killers as there is nothing to do but be alone and you can quickly get bored.
