The Ex-Girlfriend / season 2 - episode 1

George (Jason Alexander) has doubts about his current relationship that he broke off. Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) is curious about a relationship that she has with a guy in her building that has degenerated over the past two years. Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) is reluctantly drawn into George's ex-relationship when he picks up some books left at her apartment. Although he wants to break it off with her, she has this "psycho-sexual" hold over him and he becomes worried about what George might think if he lets this relationship develop. Elaine confronts the guy in her building and Jerry's relationship maybe in jeopardy when his girlfriend sees his act.


The Pony Remark / season 2 - episode 2

Jerry's parents, Helen and Morty, are in town from Florida for his Aunt Manya's and Uncle Issac's fiftieth wedding anniversary. Bringing Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) along as his date to the dinner, Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) jokes about ponies and their owners, and is embarrassed to learn Manya once owned a pony as a child in Poland. Meanwhile, after being the hero of his softball team, Jerry is excited about playing in the league championship game. As his parents are leaving for the airport, Jerry learns that Manya has died suddenly. While Morty is upset about losing his discount airfares, Jerry worries that his pony remark may have precipitated Manya's untimely death.


The Jacket / season 2 - episode 3

Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) buys a real expensive new suede jacket with a colorful inner lining. George (Jason Alexander) has a song from Les Miserables that he just can't get out of his mind. Kramer (Michael Richards) is supposed pickup a magician friend's doves, and needs someone to help him for two minutes; Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) takes on the job. Kramer promises she'll get "a lift" to the hotel where Jerry and George are meeting her and her father, Alton Benes, an author cut from Hemingway cloth. Jerry and George suffer while waiting with Elaine's father. When it begins to snow, Jerry turns his new jacket inside out, to protect it, but Alton Benes doesn't want to be seen on the street with him.


The Phone Message / season 2 - episode 4

George (Jason Alexander) becomes upset with a current girlfriend and leaves nasty messages on her machine because he believes that he is being ignored. George later discovers that his girlfriend has been out of town for a while and has not had a time to check her messages or call George back. George plans with Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) to switch tapes on her answering machine so that she will not find out about the nasty messages he left for her. Jerry George and the girl go out and then George says that Jerry needs to use the bathroom but has a fear of public bathrooms. George (Jason Alexander) distracts the girlfriend while Jerry attempts to switch the tapes.


The Apartment / season 2 - episode 5

When the apartment above his becomes vacant after the death of its elderly tenant, Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) convinces the apartment managers to give it to Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). However, realizing she will be able to track his every move, Jerry has second thoughts about having Elaine as a neighbor. In the meantime, George (Jason Alexander) decides to pretend he is married in order to attract single women. When someone offers the apartment managers $5,000 for the apartment, Jerry has a chance to get off the hook with Elaine. However, after seeing how excited she is about moving in, Jerry agrees to loan her the money for the apartment. While at a party to watch the New York City Marathon, George tries his new strategy by wearing a wedding band, while Jerry is hailed as a hero for finding Elaine a new apartment.


The Statue / season 2 - episode 6

While going through a box of things that belonged to Jerry's late uncle, George (Jason Alexander) discovers a statue exactly like one he broke as a child. Wanting to give it to his parents as a surprise, George gets the statue after an argument with Kramer (Michael Richards), Leaving it with Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) until he can pick it up later. Meanwhile Jerry hires an aspiring young actor, Ray, to clean his apartment while he is out of town. Returning home from his trip, Jerry is amazed to discover how thorough a job Ray has done. However, when he goes to Ray's apartment and compliments him on the job, Jerry is stunned to see the statue he had promised to George.


The Revenge / season 2 - episode 7

George (Jason Alexander) quits his job in a huff after he is demoted to using the regular bathroom. Newman tells Kramer (Michael Richards) that he plans to jump off the building. Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) suggests that George just go back into work next Monday morning and pretend like nothing happened; however, that doesn't work. Newman jumps, from the second floor. George plots revenge, and with Elaine's (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) help, tries to slip his boss "a Mickey." Jerry suspects that his launderer is a larcenist after he discovers that $1500 he had stashed in his laundry bag is missing.


The Heart Attack / season 2 - episode 8

While at a restaurant with Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) and Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), George (Jason Alexander) claims to be having a heart attack and is rushed to the hospital. Although convinced his life is over, George's doctor tells him that, while he didn't have a heart attack, he does need his tonsils removed. Meanwhile, Jerry panics when he cannot decipher a late-night note to himself, and Elaine becomes obsessed with a magazine article in the hospital waiting room. While preparing to have his tonsils taken out, George is convinced by Kramer (Michael Richards) to skip the surgery and see Tor, a holistic healer. Told to stay away from hot water, George is given an herbal tea to treat his tonsils, all of which increases Jerry's suspicions that Tor is a really a fake.


The Deal / season 2 - episode 9

Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) and Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) are watching TV late at night and stumble across "naked people" and that gets them both discussing whether they could have a relationship and not jeopardize their friendship. George (Jason Alexander) says it can't be done, but Jerry and Elaine devise "a system"; however, it develops a little trouble when her birthday comes along.


The Baby Shower / season 2 - episode 10

Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) has to go out of town for a show so he agrees to let Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) use his apartment to hold a baby shower. Kramer (Michael Richards) convinces Jerry on the benefits of an illegal cable hookup and so installation arrangements are made. Jerry's show is cancelled so he returns to his apartment. As the baby shower is underway the cable hook up guys arrive. George (Jason Alexander) confronts a former date that embarassed him tremendously and which he deems the worst date he has ever had. Jerry encounters confrontation at the baby shower by a woman he agreed to call in the past but never did.


The Chinese Restaurant / season 2 - episode 11

Director: Tom Cherones
Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld), Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and George (Jason Alexander) stop for a quick Chinese dinner before a showing of Plan 9 From Outer Space on the big screen. However, while waiting a really long time to get a table, Jerry sees a woman whose name he can't recall; George needs to use a phone he can't have and Elaine needs food, more than those seated ahead of them.


The Busboy / season 2 - episode 12
Writer: Larry David & Jerry Seinfeld
Director: Tom Cherones
After making an innocent remark in a restaurant, George (Jason Alexander) inadvertently costs Antonio, a busboy, his job. Worried that he may try and seek revenge, George goes to apologize but accidentally ends up losing Antonio's cat too. Meanwhile, Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) dreads having to entertain Eddie, an out of town visitor coming to spend the week at her apartment. After apologizing to Antonio about the cat, George offers to help in any way he can. Elaine admits to hating Eddie and cannot wait to get him on his way back to Seattle. However, when her new alarm clock fails to go off, Elaine is pressed to get him to the airport on time.
