The Trip (1) / season 4 - episode 1

While Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) is asking George (Jason Alexander) to loin him on a trip to California to appear on "The Tonight Show," Kramer (Michael Richards) is still trying to get his show business career off the ground after his "Murphy Brown" appearance, living in a Hollywood boarding house as he tries to sell his treatment for a film. After an embarrassing incident with airport security, Jerry and George finally board their flight to Los Angeles. Meanwhile, at a casting call in which he fails to get a part, Kramer meets a struggling young actress named Chelsea. Discussing his career plans over coffee with Chelsea, Kramer spots actor Fred Savage and nervously approaches with his treatment.


The Trip (2) / season 4 - episode 2

Hearing that Kramer (Michael Richards) is being sought as the Smog Strangler, Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) and George (Jason Alexander) decide to locate their friend and vindicate him in the killings. Calling from a pay phone and admitting he cannot find his way to the police station, Jerry identifies himself as George and is told to wait for someone to pick him up. However, when their police escorts have to answer a call about a crime in progress, they are forced to share the back seat of the patrol car with new suspect Toby Nagy. Admitting to being friends of the suspected serial killer, George debates Toby on just how much one should tip the maid during a hotel stay.


The Pitch / season 4 - episode 3

NBC executives ask Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) to come up with an idea for a TV series. George (Jason Alexander) decides he can be a sitcom writer and comes up with "nothing." Kramer (Michael Richards) trades a radar detector for a helmet, later Newman gets a speeding ticket. While waiting to meet the NBC executives, George and Jerry meet Joe Davola, a writer and "a total nut" who goes to the same shrink as Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). Jerry searching for conversation, mentions Kramer's party, whereto Joe wasn't invited. While discussing the disaster of the meeting with NBC, George focuses on starting a relationship with the female NBC executive. Kramer (Michael Richards) shows his approval by throwing up on her.


The Ticket / season 4 - episode 4

Kramer (Michael Richards) suffers side effects from his head injury. NBC gives Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) and George (Jason Alexander) another meeting and on the way, Jerry throws out a watch his parents gave him. He then meets his Uncle Leo, who picks the watch out of the garbage. Kramer agrees to be an alibi for Newman's trial on a speeding ticket. George and Jerry meet with NBC executives and they give the go ahead for a pilot. Later they hide in the coffee shop, afraid of an attack from "Crazy" Joe. Elaine's (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) shrink realizes that he didn't leave an extra prescription for Joe Davola, for the time while he's on vacation.


The Wallet / season 4 - episode 5

While Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) and his parents, Morty and Helen, are on their way to New York for his father's appointment with a back specialist, George (Jason Alexander) is telling the NBC executive who championed their show that the network's offer for the pilot episode is too small and that he and Jerry have agreed to pass. Then, as his mom worries after learning that Crazy Joe Davola is out to get her son, Jerry's parents notice he isn't wearing the watch they gave him as a present. Claiming it is out being fixed, Jerry admits to Kramer (Michael Richards) that he actually tossed the defective watch in a trashcan and asks that he not tell mom and dad, unaware that it was retrieved by his Uncle Leo. Arriving for his appointment and surprised by all the forms he needs to complete, Morty gives only his name and address before being taken in for his x-rays.


The Watch / season 4 - episode 6

While dining with his parents, Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) tries to hide the fact that his Uncle Leo recovered the watch they gave him as a gift. Meanwhile, after learning their deal at NBC is dead, George (Jason Alexander) insists that Susan tell him how to contact the network executive responsible for turning it down, while Kramer (Michael Richards) agrees to pose as Elaine's (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) lover in order for her to break up with her psychiatrist-boyfriend. However, upon calling Dr. Reston to announce that he and Elaine are intimate, Kramer is persuaded into making an appointment to discuss the matter face-to-face. After arguing over the check, Jerry follows Uncle Leo to the rest room, leaving his father to pay, even though his wallet was stolen.


The Bubble Boy / season 4 - episode 7

Director: Tom Cherones
Jerry's (Jerry Seinfeld) girlfriend, Naomi has a laugh that sounds like "Elmer Fudd sitting on a juicer," and when she hears George's (Jason Alexander) message to Jerry, she breaks up with him. So instead, Jerry asks Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) to accompany him on a trip to a cabin in the mountain with George and Susan. Kramer (Michael Richards) isn't invited. Jerry agrees to a side trip to visit a sick fan, a "Bubble Boy." George gets into a fight with the "Bubble Boy" over the correct answer to a Trivial Pursuit question. Kramer and Naomi also make the trip to the cabin and get the fire started.


The Cheever Letters / season 4 - episode 8

Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) and George (Jason Alexander) begin to work on the pilot for the series they pitched to NBC. Jerry says the wrong thing while "messing" around with one of Elaine's (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) co-workers. George & Susan tell her father about the cabin fire, he becomes distraught and letters saved from the fire soon explain why. Kramer (Michael Richards) goes to the Cuban Embassy in search of cigars and makes a deal.


The Opera / season 4 - episode 9

Unaware of a threatening message left by Crazy Joe Davola, Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) is persuaded to join Kramer (Michael Richards), Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and George (Jason Alexander) for an opening night gala at the opera. After hearing Davola's message, Jerry is counselled by Kramer to stay cairn and call Davola to explain that there has been a misunderstanding. Meanwhile, wanting to surprise her date with the tickets, Elaine arrives to find him working out to the strains of "Pagliacci", after having converted his apartment into a shrine by covering the walls with surveillance photos of her. Insisting on leaving, Elaine then sprays him in the face with breath freshener to make a getaway. When George announces that his date, Susan, will not be able to join them, he is stuck with a hundred dollar ticket for the opera.


The Virgin / season 4 - episode 10
Story: Peter Mehlman & Peter Farrelly & Bobby Farrelly

After much procrastination, George (Jason Alexander) and Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) strain to think of an idea for their TV series a few hours before a meeting with NBC executives. Jerry finds out a girl he once met is still a virgin, and later Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) educates her about men after sex. George wants to end his relationship with Susan so he can exploit his writing profession as a pick-up line. Elaine runs into a Chinese delivery boy. Kramer (Michael Richards) watches too much television.


The Contest / season 4 - episode 11

The gang has a contest with a wager to see who can go the longest without sex. Jerry's (Jerry Seinfeld) girlfriend "the virgin" finds out about the contest and is disgusted. Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) meets John F Kennedy Jr at the gym and ends up spending the night with him. She is out of the contest. Kramer (Michael Richards) has sex with a neighbor that does everything in the nude for everyone to see. The Virgin after being upset loses her virginity to John F Kennedy Jr. George (Jason Alexander) tells Jerry that he won the contest in the Puffy shirt episode which came much later.. In the last episode George admits that he really lied about this so Jerry really won the contest.


The Airport / season 4 - episode 12

Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) and Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) fly in an airplane with Jerry in first class and Elaine in coach. Elaine becomes tired of the crowded section she is in. She gets up to go to the bathroom (holds her breath while inside because of the smell) and has trouble getting back to her seat. When she does she is told that she shouldn't have gotten up during food service and that she must have gotten her meal which she didn't. Elaine sneaks up to first class after smelling cookies up there. She attempts to sleep in an abandoned seat but is quickly asked to leave. Jerry awakens from his nap in first class and asks what all the ruckus is. He is sitting next to a model and has been brought slippers and treated like a king. Elaine meanwhile is back to coach.


The Pick / season 4 - episode 13

Director: Tom Cherones
The model from the previous episode the Airport sees Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) scratching his nose as she pulls up beside his car. She thinks he was picking his nose and is offended. Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) sends out Christmas cars that show an exposed nipple. The Calven Klen company comes out with a new cologne with a beachy smell entitled the Ocean. This was an earlier idea Kramer (Michael Richards) had in a previous episode. Kramer complains to Calvin Klein and they agree to let him be an underwear model to keep him happy.


The Movie / season 4 - episode 14
Writer: Steve Skrovan & Bill Masters & Jon Hayman
Director: Tom Cherones
Listening to George (Jason Alexander) lament about missing Susan, Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) reminds him of just how much he disliked her when they were dating, and Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) suggests George seek some professional advice, referring him to a therapist and friend. After Elaine agrees to have Kramer (Michael Richards) take a photograph for her Christmas card, Jerry entertains Tia at his apartment and discovers she is wearing the same fragrance Kramer had proposed to Cal Yin Klein a year ago. Although Jerry tries to keep it a secret, Kramer discovers the truth about his perfume and threatens to get revenge on the executive who originally ridiculed his idea. As George and the therapist start his session, they are distracted by a stuck zipper on his jacket. Meanwhile, Elaine discovers that the picture she sent out with her Christmas cards clearly shows too much decolletage.


The Visa / season 4 - episode 15

George (Jason Alexander) is dates the lawyer who is handling Ping's case against Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) tries not to be funny so that George will have a better shot with the lawyer but she ends up being attracted to Jerry because he is dark and mysterious. Baboo is deported when his visa renewal is placed in Jerry's mailbox and Elaine doesn't give Jerry his mail for a long while. Kramer (Michael Richards) punches Micky Mantle at fantasy camp.


The Shoes / season 4 - episode 16

After running into a woman Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) dated a couple of times but was never able to kiss, Kramer (Michael Richards) is thanked for his loyalty when he reveals that he snubbed the elusive Gail Cunningham. Then, during a meeting with Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) at the coffee shop, Jerry tries to explain why he and George (Jason Alexander) have cut her character out of their script. But, when Gail arrives to complain about the Kramer's snub, she makes a snide remark about Elaine's expensive shoes. Meanwhile, George complains that his therapist didn't find the script funny, and Kramer announces that he kissed Gail. Learning that Gail told Kramer about her shoes, Elaine tracks her down at the restaurant where she works to complain.


The Outing / season 4 - episode 17

After Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) is unsuccessful reaching a college reporter about an interview, Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) notices two women eavesdropping on their conversation. To give them something interesting to hear, she casually mentions that Jerry and George (Jason Alexander) have admitted they are gay, unaware that one of them is Sharon Lennard, the reporter waiting for the interview with Jerry. As Jerry prepares for the interview, George drops by to discuss his latest girlfriend and, while Sharon recognizes them immediately, they fail to realize who she is and proceed to argue like an old married couple.


The Old Man / season 4 - episode 18

Director: Tom Cherones
Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) , Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) & George (Jason Alexander) volunteer to help the elderly. Jerry gets assigned to a nasty old man. Elaine is repulsed by the goiter problems of hers and George depresses his charge. Kramer (Michael Richards) and Newman try the business of selling old records to a used record store. Jerry loses track of his man when they try to take him to the dentist to repair his dentures, after the man had bitten Kramer's arm.


The Implant / season 4 - episode 19
Writer: Peter Mehlman
Director: Tom Cherones
Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) dumps his girlfriend after Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) says her figure is the result of implants. Kramer (Michael Richards) claims to have seen Salman Rushdie at the health club. By accident Elaine later discovers the breasts are real. George (Jason Alexander) accompanies his current girlfriend to Detroit for her aunt's wake. While there he tries to get a copy of her death certificate so he can get a 50% discount on the airfare.


The Junior Mint / season 4 - episode 20
Writer: Andy Robin
Director: Tom Cherones
Jerry's (Jerry Seinfeld) new girlfriend has a name that rhymes with a female body part, but Jerry can't remember it for the life of him. After making out with her, he knows that it is just too late to ask her about this. He and George (Jason Alexander) ponder what her name may be in the Coffee shop. George thinks aloud and comes up with Mulva, Bovary, and Arethra. The name still can't be remembered. Jerry spends more time with her and attempts to look in her purse to find out her name. She catches him and he says he was just looking for some gum or a junior mint. Kramer (Michael Richards) enters the room and Jerry gets Kramer to introduce himself to her in hopes that she would be forced to reveal her own name.


The Smelly Car / season 4 - episode 21

Director: Tom Cherones
The strong body odor of a valet is left in Jerry's (Jerry Seinfeld) car. George (Jason Alexander) can't believe it when he spots Susan holding hands with another woman. Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) loses her current boyfriend and Jerry is forced to try to sell the car, because the odor has taken a life of its own and permeated everything. George is turned by Susan's new outlook on life. Susan's friend is swayed to heterosexuality by Kramer (Michael Richards), though later turned back off by a whiff of a jacket that Kramer borrowed from Jerry.


The Handicap Spot / season 4 - episode 22

Director: Tom Cherones
Going out to buy an engagement party present for "The Drake," George (Jason Alexander) parks his father's car in a handicap parking spot, after taking Kramer's (Michael Richards) advice. An angry mob trashes the vehicle when a disabled woman gets injured, because of the illegal parking. While visiting the woman at the hospital, Kramer falls in love and feels compelled to replace the wheelchair. George becomes his father's butler after his father gets arrested for parking in the spot.


The Pilot (1) / season 4 - episode 23
Writer: Larry David
Director: Tom Cherones
George (Jason Alexander) and Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) reach an agreement with NBC executivies to produce a pilot for their show about nothing. They primarily get an agreement to do the show because NBC's President really likes Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). In the pilot Jerry is to play himself but actors are to play Kramer (Michael Richards), George, and Elaine. George notices a small white blimish on his lip and asks everyone if they see it too. George thinks he spots the man playing Kramer's character taking a box of raisins from the set and absolutely must find out the truth on the matter.


The Pilot (2) / season 4 - episode 24
Writer: Larry David
Director: Tom Cherones
George (Jason Alexander) asks the man playing Kramer (Michael Richards) more about what he knows about the raisins. The character playing George acts frantically as he worries that he will forget his lines or screw up. Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) comments that the actor is just like George. The filming of the pilot is watched by Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) in disguise as well as by Jerry's relatives on TV later. Elaine attends the screening in disguise to avoid a crazy man "Joe" that thinks he knows her but doesen't.
