| | Name of a generic sing? | reply |
| | atariboy: In a rerun of Episode 66 "The Accident", during the Roller Skating scene, Tears of a Clown has been replaced by another track...i think its generic. I dont have much to give you but here are some of the lyrics (not in any order) that i believe to be almost correct.
The chorus contains the following
When things were fine and your love was mine, I could reach up to you and you'll be there
Seems so strange that you rearrange and i feel like such a fool
I'm your fool.
I saved the section of the tv programme to dvd and ripped the audio off to mp3 but because it is a tv programme there is a lot of talking going on over the track.
But it does get clearer as the song progresses. It does sound like Motown or Northern Soul. I can send the file to anyone who would like to listen to it.
Thanks |

| | mdavis: I am not sure what the name of the song played at the beginning of the episode is. Im not really sure about this, but I think the song playing as they exchanged vows is The Wedding Song. I dont remember many of the words, just these,
Is it love that brings you here or love that gives you life.
I am also looking for that song, ive heard it before but when I saw the wonder years the other night, it seemed to have more words than I have ever heard in it. hope this helps |

| | wonderyearz: Hey Everyone, got 2 song questions from the same episode. The episode where Karen and Michael get married, What is the song at the beginning, of the episode, and the accoustic song played during the ceremony where they are reading the wedding vows.
Thanks for the help |
| | rusty: does anyone know the song from episode 75 (Triangle) that was in the non USA release. The USA version had 'I shall be released' but that song was replaced by another due to copyright (I think). The song goes...'Sometimes a man has got to take a stand...Take a chance cause what will be will be...Only heart and mind can stand the test of time......' |

| | Re: brokenhearts and burgers | reply |
| | margonina: that song is called
"wild heart of the young" and is performed by Karla Bonoff |
| | Slash: I was talking about the first kiss episode.
From the ..."burgers..." episode, I'm 99% sure that it is a Carole King song, but I don't know the title. |
| | Slash: That song is "Friends" by Elton John. I've only ever seen it on an import "Best of..." .
I agree, great song. |
| | sumone: does anyone knw where to find some good pics of the last episodes of the wonder years? |
| | ed: what's the name of the song towards the end of the series when kevin and winnie are in a burger place with their friends and they're fighting and she runs out and he chases he. the words are "i love you like i never loved another" that's all i know. if someone could help me out i would appreciate it. this song has driven me crazy trying to find out what it's called and who sings it |
| | Andy K: The song at the end of 'Don't you know anything about women' is definitely Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers - I have that episode on video and saw it the other day
The episode always surprises me as Winnie Cooper strolls into the disco at the end yet her and Kevin fail to see one another.
He spent the whole episode trying to pull some blonde called Susan Fisher!! |
| | Dabbers: Anyone know the name of the song played a the end of "Don't You Know Anything About Women". Some sites say Righteous Bros, Unchained Melody, but i'm sure it wasn't that and I haven't seen the episode itself for years.
Thanks |
